When buying a gift card online, you can choose to send the gift card by post. We’ll ask you for the postal address of the person it’s for. We’ll post your gift card to whoever you choose, along with instructions on how to use it. If you don’t have their address, then you can send the gift card to yourself to forward on later if you would prefer. We’ll also send the purchaser a purchase email confirmation. We offer a recorded delivery service so delivery can be tracked. We take no responsibility for lost items if they are not tracked.

When buying an e-gift card online, you can choose to send an e-gift card by email. We’ll ask you for the email address of the person it’s for. We’ll email your e-gift card to whoever you choose, along with instructions on how to use it. If you don’t have their email address, then you can send the e-gift card to yourself to forward on later if you would prefer. We’ll also send the purchaser a purchase email confirmation.

If you’ve chosen the ‘Post a gift card’ option during the purchase journey, we will despatch the gift card within 3 working days of the purchase completing.

If you’ve chosen the ‘Send gift card on a future date’ option, we will deliver the gift card to the recipient details provided via the chosen postal method.

If you’ve chosen the ‘Send e-gift card’ option during the purchase journey, we will deliver the e-gift card to the email provided within minutes of the purchase completing, this may take up to 2 hours in some instances.
If you’ve chosen the ‘Send e-gift card on a future date’ option, we will deliver the e-gift card to the recipient details provided via email on the morning of the date chosen.

All major UK debit or credit cards issued by Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept American Express.

You can purchase a maximum of 5 gift cards with a maximum transaction value of £250 and e-gift cards within a 24-hour period.

In-store; You can spend separate cards and e-gift cards according to the limits of the participating retailer. If no limits, you can spend to the value of £250

Online, you can spend separate cards and e-gift cards to a maximum of that allowed by the participating online website.

You can check the balance of your Golf Gift Card or e-gift card online at www.thegolfgiftcard.com.  Simply enter the 19-digit card number and secret PIN code to see your balance and most recent transactions. Here’s a guide to help you understand some of the transactions you might see in your transaction history:

• Credit/Activation: A credit or activation is when the gift card was first purchased. This may show as either description depending on where the card was bought
• Redeem/Debit: A redeem or debit transaction is when a gift card is used to purchase goods
• Balance check: a check of the balance has taken place

Please note that it can take up to 2 hours after purchasing a Golf Gift Card or e-Gift Card for it to be authorised and ready for use or for the balance to be checked.

You can also check your balance at any time by visiting a participating Golf course or retail store.

The expiry date on gift cards and e-gift cards varies depending on the card provider. Golf Gift Card and e-Gift Cards expire 12 months after they were activated

No, any leftover balance will be saved until your next purchase and lasts for 12 months form the date of activation of the card

If you haven’t used your card or e-gift card, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting Golf Gift Card Customer Services via the form on our website. We can only process refunds to the person who purchased the e-gift card. Refunds will be processed within 5 – 7 working days of the request. We can’t process refunds in store or online. Unfortunately, we can’t refund partial balances if the e-gift card has already been used. For Golf Gift Card and e-Gift Cards, any unused balance will remain on the e-gift card for 12 months from the date it was first activated.

You should treat your gift card and e-gift card like cash. In the event a card is lost or stolen then please contact enquiries@thegolfgiftcard.com. A replacement card can be issued at a cost of £5.

Please keep your e-gift card details safe. If you suspect that your e-gift card has been copied or stolen, get in touch with us immediately on 0330 1337925
